PLUG-IN, Farfetch’s official graduate programme, is back for a third year – and we are once again challenging young graduates to present their talent and apply. There are 60 vacancies to fill – 60% more than last year – and Farfetch is also looking for different profiles, calling for graduates with backgrounds in product, branches of design, engineering and mathematics.
"This is a programme that, since its inception, has had a mentorship structure and development that is very distinctive. It represents a unique opportunity for applicants who will have their first professional experience with the close support of experts in various fields while, at the same time, participating in complex and innovative projects that are changing the industry,” says Ana Sousa, Farfetch's Talent and People Director in Portugal.
We’re providing a traineeship in an environment where young graduates will be able to benefit from mentoring with technology experts, and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced company. It’s a thorough selection process: applicants go through profile analysis, a tech challenge, group dynamics sessions and a final interview.
"Farfetch is a global company that provides graduates with both technical experience and the possibility to be a part of international teams that are developing innovative solutions. This gives them the chance to be exposed to a challenging and fast-paced learning environment,” says Ana Sousa.
The programme is paid and is 6 months long: it starts in September and will be running this year in the Portuguese offices of Porto, Lisbon and Braga. In 2017, PLUG-IN received around 500 applications and selected 36 trainees, all of whom were offered full-time roles at Farfetch upon completion of the program.
